Schonach – Van 4 tot en met 9 februari 2013 presenteert Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH voor de tweede keer haar programma hoogwaardige Premium handgereedschappen op de Internationale Bouwbeurs in Utrecht. Daaronder bevinden zich innovatieve wereldprimeurs, die niet eerder in de gereedschappenbranche te bewonderen waren. De momentschroevendraaier iTorque en de twee-componenten-bits MaxxTor. Hiermee bouwt de onderneming haar marktpositie en jarenlange competentie verder uit.

Schonach – Onderscheiden werden de momentschroevendraaier iTorque, de MaxxTor-bits, de BitBuddy en de MagicFlip. Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH ontvangt vier keer de felbegeerde iF product design award 2013. Daarmee wist het familiebedrijf uit het Zwarte Woud zich temidden van meer dan 3.011 bijdragen uit 51 landen staande te houden. De prijsuitreiking vindt plaats op 22.2.2013 in de BMW Welt in München. Daarbij worden 50 iF gold awards verleend onder de 981 prijswinnaars van de iF product design award. Dat Wiha gereedschap niet alleen uiterst functioneel is, maar ook beschikt over een onderscheidend design, is al jaren bekend. Geen wonder dan ook, dat Wiha zich mag verheugen over meerder iF product design awards.

Schonach – Met de MaxxTor-bits presenteert Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH de nieuwste generatie Torsion-bits. Het nieuwe bitprogramma komt overtuigend tegemoet aan de steeds hogere eisen die worden gesteld aan moment en standtijd – met een maximale levensduur. Die uitstekende levensduur werd bevestigd in een onafhankelijke test van de VPA Remscheid waaruit de MaxxTor-bits als testwinnaar naar voren kwamen. Voor krachtige boor- en slagschroevendraaiers zijn de Wiha MaxxTor-bits vanaf nu de eerste keus. Het programma omvat bits van 29 mm en 49 mm met alle gangbare punten. Samen met de BitBuddy, een innovatieve bitbox, vormt de MaxxTor een overtuigende combinatie.

Schonach – Using exactly the right torque is both an important and difficult job for machines and systems. Circular plug connectors are some of the most common connectors, which is why they are of particular importance. An incorrect torque here can potentially damage both individual components and the overall safety of a system.

Schonach – following the trouble-ridden year 2009, Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH draws a positive balance after the first half year of 2010. Optimised work processes, internal restructuring and innovative new products mean that Wiha are again able to look with a more relaxed view towards the future. The mood barometer points to an upturn for the Schonach tool forge, and short-time work and declines in revenue are no longer an issue.

Schonach – the ErgoStar from Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH has just been distinguished with the "red dot product design award" in one of the most renowned design competitions worldwide. The highly diverse L-key holder was able to convince the high calibre jury of experts with its outstanding design and high quality, and asserted itself successfully in the face of 4,252 products submitted by 57 countries. The celebratory award of the prizes with over 1,000 invited guests will be taking place on 5th July 2010 in the Opera House in Essen, Germany. Following that, the Wiha ErgoStar can then be admired in a four-week exhibition in the red dot design museum.

VDE tools used in such environments must not only be rugged and flexible, but must also satisfy the highest demands in terms of quality and safety. A further commonly occurring problem for VDE fastening tools is limited access to low-lying fastening elements and narrow apertures. The VDE safety insulation of screwdrivers often obstructs and prevents optimal access to fastening elements. The normal solution in practice is to compromise on safety, whether this means the use of non-insulated tools or perhaps even a shortening of the blade insulation.

Schonach – only at first sight does the Wiha ErgoStar appear to be a conventional L-key holder. But when used for the first time it quickly becomes clear why it is different: with the innovative rotary movement of all L-keys, the Wiha ErgoStar has solved the problem of complicated key extraction in an ingenious way.
