Schonach – following the trouble-ridden year 2009, Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH draws a positive balance after the first half year of 2010. Optimised work processes, internal restructuring and innovative new products mean that Wiha are again able to look with a more relaxed view towards the future. The mood barometer points to an upturn for the Schonach tool forge, and short-time work and declines in revenue are no longer an issue.

Schonach – the ErgoStar from Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH has just been distinguished with the "red dot product design award" in one of the most renowned design competitions worldwide. The highly diverse L-key holder was able to convince the high calibre jury of experts with its outstanding design and high quality, and asserted itself successfully in the face of 4,252 products submitted by 57 countries. The celebratory award of the prizes with over 1,000 invited guests will be taking place on 5th July 2010 in the Opera House in Essen, Germany. Following that, the Wiha ErgoStar can then be admired in a four-week exhibition in the red dot design museum.
