Successful appearance at Ligna: Wiha achieves recognition in woodworking industry
The Black Forest tool manufacturer Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH presented many selected hand tool solutions and innovations for the woodworking industry at this year's Ligna, the world's leading trade fair for the forestry and timber industry in Hannover. Highlights at the well-attended stand were the torque tools and bit assortment of MaxxTor bits.
At its well-attended stand Wiha presented the new torque tool TorqueVario S-TR especially for work situations where a broad torque range is required. This makes the possession of several tools for individual torque settings superfluous. This is made possible by a currently unique torque range of two to eight Newton metres. The exhibited bits also attracted great interest, especially the MaxxTor bit. This, with its extended torsion zone, can effortlessly withstand very high loads and is particularly suitable for use in powerful drills and impact screwdrivers. Other hand tool solutions for the woodworking industry such as the MagicFlip Force bit holder and Wiha’s high-performance cutter range completed the portfolio.
In response to the large numbers of visitors to Ligna 2013, Wiha exhibited this year on a newly designed stand with several demonstration booths. Thus domestic trade visitors, and especially those from abroad, could conveniently learn about the exhibited hand tools and handle them also. "We are very satisfied with our performance at Ligna 2015. The large number of visitors and the many discussions prove that Wiha is positively perceived with its hand tool solutions in the woodworking industry, "says Ronny Lindskog, Director of European Sales and Marketing.
