Hand tool manufacturer Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH announces several changes within the management team as of 1 February 2024. After ten successful years as Wiha Managing Director Sales and Marketing, Ronny Lindskog will hand over the baton and move on to new challenges. Owner and CEO Wilhelm Hahn explains: "We very much regret his decision to leave Wiha and thank him for ten years of passion, dedication and full commitment to our company. The entire Wiha team wishes him all the best for his new challenges."
A further resignation is also planned. As Wilfried Hahn has not been involved in the company's daily operations for some time, he is now also formally resigning as a member of the Management Board. Here, too, his son has words of thanks: "Without him and his tireless commitment over many decades, Wiha would not be the internationally networked, flourishing company that it is today. We are glad that we can still draw on his knowledge and wealth of experience within the Wiha Group GmbH."
Wilhelm Hahn, who is now the 3rd generation of the owner family to head Wiha as CEO, will be joined by two new Managing Directors: Mario Sommer for Sales and Marketing and Dr Manuel Wehrle for Production and Logistics. Both have been part of the management team at the hand tool manufacturer for many years. "We are very happy that we can form the new management generation from our own ranks. As industry experts, both have in-depth knowledge and many years of experience in their fields and are firmly rooted in the Wiha philosophy," says Hahn.
Mario Sommer was most recently Head of Wiha E-Commerce and Big Box. In addition, he has been Managing Director of the subsidiary Wiha UK and authorised signatory of Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH on the management board as Lindskog's deputy since 2021. Dr Manuel Wehrle has also been responsible for the design and strategic direction of all international production processes, order processing, supply chain management and procurement as an authorised signatory since 2022.
